GETTING TO KNOW KAITLIN JONES, PA-C: OUR NEWEST QUICK CARE PROVIDER

Barbour Community Health Association is always excited to welcome new team members who are dedicated to providing excellent care. This time, we’re enthused to introduce Kaitlin Jones, PA-C, a Philippi native who is returning home to serve the community she loves. We recently sat down with Kaitlin to learn more about her background, interests, and what excites her most about joining Barbour Quick Care.

Can you tell us a bit about your professional journey so far?
I started my Physician Assistant studies at Alderson Broaddus University, but after its closure, I transferred to West Liberty University to complete my training.

Are there any areas of patient care that you’re particularly passionate about?
I love the fast-paced environment of Quick Care because you never know what might walk through the door. It keeps every day exciting, and I enjoy being able to help patients with a wide range of concerns.

Where are you originally from?
I was born and raised in Philippi, and my family has lived here for over 75 years. This community means everything to me, and I’m honored to give back in a meaningful way.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love being outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and kayaking are some of my favorite activities. Lately, I’ve gotten into side-by-side riding with my boyfriend’s family, and I absolutely love it!

What’s one thing you’d like the community to know about you?
I am very family-oriented, and I take pride in my hometown. Giving back to Barbour County has always been a goal of mine. There is truly no place like home!
