Our Sliding Fee Discount can help make medical services more affordable for patients and families.

Sliding Fee Options:

Our Health Access Program

At Barbour Community Health Association, we believe that cost should never be a barrier to quality health care. Through our Health Access Program, we offer a Sliding Fee Discount to make medical services more affordable for patients and families in Barbour County and surrounding communities.

This program ensures that every patient (insured, underinsured, or uninsured) can access the care they need at a price that fits their budget.

How the Sliding Fee Discount Works

  • Discounts are based on household size and income level.
  • Patients may qualify for reduced fees on medical visits, lab work, and other services.
  • The program is available to all patients, regardless of insurance status.

What You Need to Apply

To determine eligibility, please provide the following at your appointment:

  • Proof of income (such as pay stubs, W-2 forms, or tax returns)
  • Household information (number of people in your household)
  • Photo ID

Our staff will review your application and let you know if you qualify for discounted services.

Who Is Eligible?

  • Patients without health insurance
  • Patients with high deductibles or limited coverage
  • Families seeking more affordable access to care
  • Individuals receiving care at Belington Medical Clinic, Myers Clinic, or our school-based health centers

Why Choose the Health Access Program?

  • Affordable Care for All: No one is turned away due to inability to pay.
  • Community Focused: Serving residents of Barbour County with compassion and respect.

Simple Enrollment: Easy application process with staff ready to help.

Important Reminder

You may still apply for our Patient Assistance Program to explore insurance options through the Health Insurance Marketplace, Medicaid, or CHIP. Our staff can help you combine resources to make your health care as affordable as possible.
